Most (if not all) of the acceptance emails went out yesterday, March 21st, between 12 and 1pm welcoming the Class of 2015 to the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis. I would like to personally extend my congratulations to all of you as it is a huge accomplishment and exciting as you are all probably already aware that you are the first class at the UC Davis Vet School to receive the new curriculum.
New curriculum. What does that mean, some of you may be wondering? Well, in my mind, it means that your class is an experiment! That is not a bad thing — it’s exciting! However, be patient as this is the first year with this curriculum and I anticipate that the school will be looking to you for constructive criticism and feedback to make sure that they work out any kinks that may come up in the early years.
Again, Congratulations and Welcome to the Class of 2015! …and stay tuned for my future posts on the New Curriculum!
